Lights, trim, and fuel economy!

I'm new to the forum, and I've got a pretty stock, white 02 solara. The only mods so far are some cheap rims, and it's been debadged.

I'm looking to tint the windows and get black or gray rims and kind of get that black-on-white look going.

What I dont know, is if I can just tint the headlights and tail lights, or just get new ones with a black or smoke finish? If I should do the second option, where would I get the headlights? I can find tail lights, but no headlights.

Second, I wanted to replace the brown wood trim in the interior with black wood, or pretty much any black trim, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find that.

Lastly, I'm averaging around 17 MPG. I'm looking for a little power gain and economy gain, so I've narrowed my options down to a K&N High flow filter, or a whole new injen or weapon-R short ram. But I'm not sure if the filter will give me much more power, or if the intake will get me much better efficiency.

Any help please??

the intake wont do much until you upgrade your exhaust, the stock exhaust is crap, and the intake is >>I'm a douche<< to, if you do these 2 things you can get between 8 - 15 more hp................. :drinking:

yeah i was definitely going to replace the exhaust from the headers down, but that's on my list of second priorities, because I'm pretty short on cash haha. Will that all give me a decent fuel economy boost too?

Yeah, that stock muffler just looks like it's junk to me... I was thinking of eventually getting the whole TRD single outlet system and muffler, but wheres the fun with just a straight TRD system? haha, I think I'll switch out the muffler soon, plus I can do that before I invest in the whole new TRD exhaust
