Do G35 Rims fit

Do G35 Rims fit

Postby SpeedySolara » Fri Jul 31, 2009 10:28 pm

I found a good deal on G35 rims but was wondering if they fit and/or if they will rub. I'm dropped on Tokico Blue Struts and TRD Springs. please chime in guys. If my research is correct the G35 rims measure 225/45/18x8, maybe 225/50/18x8 if staggered. I think it will fit but you guys probably know better.

It's also about the offset. G35 rims are about -30. There's lots of wheel/tire fitment guides posted up here on SG so it might be good to do some reading.

I was reading on both the measurements of the G35 rims and what others have put on the Solara. From the looks of it, people haven't done this to the Gen 1 and for those that have gone bigger got their fenders rolled. Maybe you could help. I know the G35 has the same bolt pattern but my concern is rubbing. Do you think it will rub?

From what i heard from MILT.

Yoy need to run smaller tires and roll your fenders to get them to fit.

PLUS (not MINUS) 30 ;)

I run G35 SEDAN wheels. They fit just fine, almost zero rubbing when I was still lowered on coilovers.

If you're talking about the COUPE wheels, they probably will fit, but you'll probably need a fender roll.

The only problem with that is I'd have to buy 4 new tires and for that I just buy a whole new set of rims. :evilbat:
