Rim/Tire Question. Opinions EDIT* THNX

EDIT, Thnx for all your guys input... I probably won't end up getting this set up now. noticed it isn't really worth it lol.

Alright, so a friend of mine has a chevy cobalt supercharged blah blah... lol i hate chevy. Thing is light as fizzle tho so it's quite fast. ANYWAY, he won't have the car much longer and is switchin it back to good ol' stocky. Selling his rims/tires. Here are the brand/size/fitment of the rims/tires. Rims are Raceline 17x6" w/ 5x10 & 5x4 1/2 Lug Pattern, and the Tires are Zexius 225/50r70. I put the front ones on tonight, and drove around a bit, cranking the steering wheel both left and right, at slow and quick speeds. I noticed NO difference in sound/vibration and no rubbing. Feel was much better i could alread tell. But i was to make sure these rims and tires will work. From testing them im pretty sure they will lol. But just want clearification haha. Also want opinion on how they look. my car is not lowered at all btw. He is selling them for 500$ (Only one rim has a slight scrape along the outer lip about an inch long, and the front tires have 95% tread, rears have about 45% tread left.) Is this a reasonable price?

You can get alot for 500 these days on craigslist.

For somthing 17x6... i dont think its worth it. i say i would buy them if they were 325, but i would still be thinking what else is out there.

I agree with everyone else. You can do so much better for 500 bucks. Go 18"s and also go wider if u can. My 2 cents...
