Recommendations for stuff to do?

Ok so I'm starting to put money into my solara, and I need some help deciding on what to spend the money on.

I am retarted on car stuff, but I'm learning. I'm only 18 years old so I have to start somewhere, and it's which my solara! haha.

First of all, There is probally alot of stuff I didn't even know I need for my car, so first make recommendations of what I need first, even if it isn't on my list at all.

This is the list of stuff I want to do with my car:
Make the engine fast (this is what i need most help with)
smoke the headlights and tail lights
Get a lip kit (which one?)
Wheels and Tires
Lower it (how do i do that?)
Put a exhaust on it (which one should i put on?)
Hids

I know these are really nooby questions, but I will learn eventually.

Btw, My car is a 2001 SLE Pearl White Solara Automatic

It all depends on how much you're willing to spend for the Solara. But I think a majority of the people would say DROP IT!

Well I just sorta want a list you know? then i can put stuff into it when i get the money. but i want to go what everyone thinks i should spend the money on first. I think im gonna wait to get the wheels and tires to drop it. so i can do it all together

it's up to you on what you want to do with your car, but imo i'd recommend:

-lowering springs
-Tokico struts
-TRD sway bar

for starters.

well i picked up my springs for 140shipped and now i'm looking for struts. sadly, i may have to resort to ebay or brand new ones.

Get a lip kit (which one?)
-The TRD kit look the best on our car
Wheels and Tires

If you want your engine to be fast... Custom Intake, Header, and Exhaust are gonna be three major things you will want to look into first off. Those are what i'm having done to my Lara in the next month. You can do FULL CUSTOM CAI, or get like, a Weapon R, or Injen SRI Intake, and have a cold air extension set up for it, most everyone around here will recommend OBX header for a cost effective header replacement, and i'm noticing a lot of people around w/ Megan Racing Drift Spec CatBack's. They all seem to have good remarks about this exhaust, and it's a great price @ http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com which actually is a local performance shop here in portland oregon which is know nationwide for their performance BMW's. The price they have the Megan Exhaust for is quite unbeatable @ 385$.

or more power -CPE or injen SRI with CAE intake TRD Muffler OR custome exhaust just those two components make it easier for your car to breathe which leads to more power if you have a good chunk of money to spend there are a few superchargers for sale on here

i would say
TRD sway bar
drop it(Eibach, Tein, etc..)
Kaminari Lip kit (kaminari.com)
CP-E intake, Injen short ram with a cold air extension
Latins tinted Tails (contact LatinUSMC) i think he has a set for sale.
Black house lighting.
And if the money isnt an issue then supercharge it.
all of this should get you the way you want your car. Any other questions dont hesitate to ask on the forum, all of us are really helpful
anyways good luck with modding and the solara isnt a civic so be prepared to spend some money and do things right the first time dont take shortcuts because your going to end up regreting it later.

this is the order i would install 1st, rsb, tntake, exhaust is tricky, if your going to supercharge, then 3in would be best, if not 2 1/2 in will do, struts springs, whiteline fsb, body kit, your lites, rims tires, and then injectors fuel pump, jims fuel mod, jims torque rod, 5 1/2-6 psi pulley, new plug wires, and much much more.................... :drinking:
