After some careful examining and talk with some friends, many of which are mechanics. I have chosen to replace my headers and intake in pursuit of more power. I bought a CP-E Non-Tunable intake and OBX headers tonight. I will be most likely be adding a shot of NOS in the near future since I have had some changes in where this build was going and and some school financial stuff. So instead of the big turbo build I planned I am going keep it low key for awhile. I already have an OBX 3" exhaust. I also bought a high flow cat for it so I just will need to get that welded in. Will update with pics as I receive the parts and install them.

most likely I will run a wet shot since I have found from past cars to be safer in the long run. I plan on not doing more than a 50 shot, untill the motor is built. I do not have a supercharger. I have seen so far a shift in the powerband with just the 3" exhaust. I also believe that a 3" exhaust on a 3.0 V6 is not a bad size. I have more power on the top end then before. I hoping with headers and the CPE intake to gain a sold 20 hp. I think this is a good estimate of the power to be made.

You'll love the CP-e intake.
My nest mod will be the OBX headers and y-pipe.

Yeah I was thinking about this for awhile and just deceided it would be wiser to do this then shell out the money I could use for school. Sucks, but education comes first.
