Spark Plug Question...

Spark Plug Question...

Postby ampreston85 » Sun Jul 05, 2009 10:14 pm

Couldn't find this in a search... Curious what the RATED spark plug heat-range is for the 2000 Solara V6 SE. I need to replace the plugs, and i'm deciding whether to go NGK Iridium, or Denso Iridium... But i don't want to get a plug w/ a higher heat-range then what is recommended for the car. Not looking to burn up pistons or anything lol. Help is greatly appreciated!

Well from the research ive dont the only difference between the 2 is the denso have a 4mm electrode witch produces a quicker spark but dont last as long and the ngks have a 6mm electrode and will last longer
