has anyone dynoed there car when they added the trd muffler to thier solara. I was wondering if they saw any hp gain cause i heard some people actually lost some with the trd muffler
1999 Toyota Solara- TRD Short Shift, TRD Rear and Frotn sway bar, and TRD Strut car, Stage 3 body kit and 12k HIDS.

I'm no exhaust expert so someone correct me if l'm wrong. I cant see the TRD muffler alone making you lose power with just a slightly bigger pipe on the muffler. Maybe you'll feel a loss of power if its like 3" piping all the way back with 2 huge mufflers on an unboosted 4 banger (which is ricer status lol) then yes because you dont have any back pressure and lots of torque loss.

TRD exhaust adds 3-4 whp and more if your boosted.
