ive been seeing some cars having a strip of led light in their headlights. has anyone done this to a solara's headlight? any pics and would one do it just for the headlights or for both the headlights and blinker lights?

Yeah those are the Audi's that have the LED's in the headlights. I've been trying to work on a retrofit for my headlights that have those LED's but unfortunately I haven't found the right length. The ones for sale have either been too short or too long. I might just do the BMW angel eyes but those are kind of played out. I'll keep you updated on what I do.

If you find an LED strip anywhere from 36-38cm let me know. I'm planning on putting the LED's on the bottom portion of the Gen 1.5 headlights, it would look hot there and almost identical with the Audi look.

yo if you're able to pull off the LED strip that'd be dope! I love that look on the audi's. As for the bimmer angel eyes, +1 on being played out. But it'd still look pretty dope on 'unplayed-out' cars, e.g. the solara.

Thats my new project :) but its going in the fogs, not the head lights.

And they will be bright amber, hooked up to the turn signals.

I guy over on 9thGenCorolla did it to his headlights. It turned out pretty nice. I'll see if I can track him down and see how he did it.

The new 2010 E-Class that just came out has them where the fogs normally go. But I can't tell if Mercedes actually meant them to be fogs or driving lights...
