Alright so i've done some research on products and what not, and i'm looking to lower my Lara about 1.5" front and back.... I'm looking to lower the car, but i want to lose as little ride confort as possible, while gaining handling/cornering and overall driving performance. Because i know a limited amount, im also curious if this can be achieved with just lowering springs or would i need Struts and/or any other parts w/ the lowering springs to accomplish this task effectively and NOT halfass. These are the parts that i've come up with...

Eibach Lowering Springs

MCV20 Tokico HP Shocks Struts Set

Solara Control Arm Bushing Set Red

Suggestions, and feedback is greatly appreciated!

TRD and Eibach are the same thing.

So your choice has already been made: TRD + Tokico.

And if you don't want to lose comfort (lol), you should stay away from the control arm bushings.

Lol i know im going to lose ride confort, but i mean... i used to drive a POS 95 dodge neon, the ride was the worst thing ever. It bottomed out on those parking lot bumps, and it was an all around LOUD UNCONFORTABLE ride. I know it's going to give it a stiff ride, but i mean, it's still going to be smooth in comparison to that POS right? I don't want it to be all loud bumpy when you run over small pebbles lol. you know what im sayin?

It'll still be good enough for daily driving.

Check out this thread I started a few years back asking just about the same question. Maybe it'll help.

havent done the control arm bushings yet, considering it in the future (if i dont sell my car) but i have eibach prosport springs and tokico blues with a TRD RSB

Ride comfort is noticeably stiffer (obviously)
Ride noise - no complaints at all
too low? - the solara has a pretty long nose, and on steep embankments, I have to go diagonal and slowly, but nothing that can't be avoided.

I DO have a greddy EVO II, and over speed bumps, I will often hear the familiar sound of metal on pavement, but nothing traumatizing as long as taken at slooow speeds :)

-- go with the set-up you have selected, you wont regret it.

TRD and Eibachs like someone said is the same.
I'm runnnin' TEIN S-Tech lowerin' springs, and TOKICO HP blues.
I love my new setup.
It's better ride than OEM that's for sure.

For the bushin' are those the front or rear bushin' set??
The rear make the ride abit harsher, and the front set that i know of doesn't do anythin' wit the ride.
I have Energy Suspension rear control arm bushin' set.
Then the front control arm bushin' set is from SuperPro. [Both bushin's]

Just to let you know, if you do the front's be sure to have a big arse breaker bar, and when you put them back in have fun cause those poly bushin' love to not flex at all like the OEM rubber ones.
