Head light bulbs

Head light bulbs

Well my right fog light I thought burned out, so I pulled the plug and in addition to a bit of corrosion, the plug had melted, which caused the light to not work. My friend has been telling me that the bulb I had in there is too powerful for a stock wire harness. I'm thinking about putting some silver stars in the fogs in addition to replacing the plug and calling it a day, but he's saying to put stock bulbs back in. Before I go buy stock bulbs I figured I would ask the experts and see if there was a general concensus. Any input would be great. Thanks!

silver stars are bank arnt they? Mine as well get HID kits for 70 shipped on ebay.

If ur harness is burnt, u can get Nokya wire harness so the heat doesnt burn ur plug. BTW ur bulbs were prolly hyper white bulbs that run super hot.. I have experienced burned infiniti g20t and 240sx..

well I picked up a 10 dollar harness for the foglight and I'm going to install it tomorrow. I just want to make sure that no one is having major problems, they were hyper whites by the way. If anyone has silverstars can they please give me a opinion before I open them and install them. I may end up returning them. I don't have time for HIDs, knowing me, something will go wrong.

Thanks

Silverstars ARE stock replacements. You won't have an issue.
