where can i buy amber tint for my corner lamps? *update*pics

so i got bored and decided to paint my corners using the yellow krylon stained glass paint. i did some reading around the internet and ppl said that the yellow would be amber with enough coats. this is what it looks like with 2 coats

thx. for the first site the closest color they have to amber is gold metallic. sucks they dont have pics of every color on the car. outrageous orange might work too. might just try the spray. how did it turn out?

it turns out ok...... sorry I don't have a pic I can show you...... but spray is not bad.

I did mine like 2 coats......it all depends how dark you want to be.

no thats not mine i just posted it to show the amber corners..looked pretty similar minus the rims and the duck bill i never really liked the clear corners on those cars.

i guess me and toysolv6 are the only ones who care for this mod lol...ill get pics up for you tomorrow bro i just installed them but they arent finished im waiting on the vans jdm amber spray. the krylon spray came out pretty clean but the amber wasnt deep enough for my taste

I have considered this, but I'm not sure how it will look with my black headlights, I'm waiting to see what your corners turn out like to decide on painting my own.

yeah i was thinking of doing the same thing...amber over the blacked out corners and maybe a coat of smoke colored paint. i wasnt sure how the amber would look on my car either im just taking a gamble..if it looks ugly then ill just take them off and buy some blacked out headlights/corners.

That paint looks pretty good. I don't prefer that mod myself, but sure enough if you put enough yellow on, you get orange.

The only problem I see is because it is on the outside, I bet it comes off with the first bug strike. Those can paints just don't stick well, I think.

Got my own variation of this mod on the way; experimental, and I can only cross my fingers that it'll look right w/out black headlights.
