alright please excuse the sh*ttily drawn diagram, leaving work in 5 min and wanted to throw up a quick question.

assuming that the battery is Red, the cap is blue and the two separate amps are yellow, could i theoretically wire my system like that without losing too much power? or would i have to increase the gauge of the wire from the battery to the cap first? or run a completely separate power line?

this is gonna be my first dual amp set up, and thus many questions are floating around in my head haha

should be fine. if only 1 amp is for the sub system then i would put the cap as close to that amps power connection if possible. no need to make another run from the battery.

well in the doors i plan to put Alpine type x components, in the rear alpine type s 6x9 coaxials, either two Kenwood KFC-W3011 12 in'' or 2 12 inch alpine type R's.

i have an older 2000 watt lanzar audio amp, ill have to check the rms, for the two subs, and a 3 farad cap and i plan on getting an Apline MRP-F450 4-channel amp to power the doors/rear deck...

You can just run it from the cap, but ive found that 4 channel amps usually dont suck up that much power. To be honest i dont really believe in caps. Im running a 10 farad cap right now and i think it looks more pretty then anything. If your really worried about power do the BIG 3 instead(upgraded grounds and alternator).
