Postby syn48 » Sun Feb 24, 2008 8:57 pm

Whats up I'm kinda new at this so i appreciate any help. I got a 99 v6 auto solara and wanted to put a supercharger in. I know I probably shoulda went with manual but 4 the price i got it for i couldnt pass it up. I dont want to go too crazy i put an injen air intake in and eventually gunna get a new dual exhaust system. I was just wondering on the supercharger wut one u would recommend and any other parts you would recommend to go with it. I dont wanna go to crazy but i do def wanna give it some more power looking to spend no more the 3gs on everything. Im cheap Thanks 4 the help

If you were the one that own a solara, how come you state in the other post that your friend the one that own it :-? ??
Any way for 3 grand you could grab the S/C on this forumn and buy yourself a tranny cooler and you should be good with 4 psi.

please dont cheap out... you have to pay to play and going fast reliably costs money. If you arent committed or dont have the money to run the setup right, then it may be better to just leave the car alone.

That being said, find a charger first, then look more seriously at what else you will need. The hardest part will be finding a complete supercharger kit. Once you have at least the charger itself, then worry about all of the things you will need. Search around the forced induction section, there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum.

Camrazy already sold it.

Try looking for a TRD S/C on eBay.

^ 1 has sold and the other is pending sale. youre correct though, if youre patient and keep looking one will pop up, they always do and seem to come in waves.

its a great upgrade for the auto, takes alot of the bordom out of driving it. but its tough to get alot of power out of it, which you dont seem to want to do, without modding the tranny.

ptballer is selling one here and on TN. i believe its a complete kit too.
