Good Tire Size?

Good Tire Size?

Postby solaratony » Tue Feb 05, 2008 8:04 am

Hey Everybody -

I have decided that I will get new rims and tires with my tax return. I need new tires anyways, so I figured why not get both.

My question to you is this: What, in your opinion, would be a good 17 inch tire size for my stock suspended 99 lara? I was thinking 225/45/17.

Just would like your input if you dont mind. Any would be appreciated!!

Thanks!

if you go to tires.com or tirerack.com they will both tell you the recommended size tire for the respective wheel sizes for your car.

That size does look good. I may go for the 50s though, to preserve some of my ride quality. Have a few weeks to decide yet. Thanks!
