possible exhaust problem?

possible exhaust problem?

So I installed the greddy evo2 on my car like a week ago before all the snow hit, it sounded awesome, not too loud, but def a lil bit louder than the trd.. anyways...

well today snow storm hits and now.. once i started hitting the snow that was deeper than lets say.....2-3 inches high? ? my exhaust TONE would suddenly change to like a LOT louder than what it usually is, and also the vibrations can be felt inside my car around my seat area (probably just cuz im sitting there)... then it would go away after i kept on driving and then the exhaust tone would be the normal of how it sounded when i first put on the exhaust (before the snow) ... i called my friend who also is a part of this forum and he said this is normal probably cuz of the piping or w/e and with the snow touching it and evaporating its making all that 'fuss'... and i shouldnt worry about it. i had a professional shop install my exhaust since my stock bolts and a few gaskets were rusted to hell.. and i checked their work while they did it, and they did an amazing job. so i doubt its a shop issue.

What do you guys make of this? is this normal or what? cuz its not like my car stays in that loud tone/vibration the whole time.. it's only when i hit deeper foots of snow.

Normal, you'll notice it the same in rain. The pitch will change. Nothing to worry about.l

Don't worry about it man.
Happens in the rain too.
It scared me at first cause i didn't know the Evo exhaust would do that, but then it would go away.
When it does that i'll put it in neutral and rev it a couple of times to about 5000 RPM's.

now that you mention it jeff, I did notice that in the rain once... it almost sounded like it was full of water haha. The other thing could be the sound bouncing off of the snow being closer to the car than the ground... thats weird.
