I know a group buy was tried in the past and failed... just thought I would throw it out there again since I have seen some interest on the forums lately.

I emailed URD and they said we would need an order of 10 to do another run. i am waiting to hear the specs and pricing, but I thought Id start a thread to see if anyone would be interested and if we could get nearly enough people. If youre interested, post up- Ill post more details when I get them.

Price would be $299 each.

INTERESTED:
1. Damon (Camryonbronze)

What is the gain in the underdrive pulley? Could someone explain it to me?

You OEM underdrive pulley gets heavy when it's rotatin' and the URD underdrive pulley is very light and you will gain some HP for losin' that extra weight by switchin' from OEM.

"CamryOnBronze" Yeah i know tell me about it.

I mean thats a lot for an underdrive pulley... my money would be better spent on a piggyback at this point. If we had ten or even 9 Id rock it though, but I doubt we will... is that how much they sold for before?

Ummm....if it's 200, I'd be in for sure.

But for 300, that's actually just ridiculous.

Does anybody have one from before lying around? We can get a machine shop to make them for less.

Might be interested. That is a lot for a pulley though.

Did they give you a time limit in the e-mail Damon?

it sounds like URD is giving up on the solara/camry community if you ask me....too bad. some of us are willing to spend the money needed for performance.

but for the 5-speed guys, for the 300bucks, we/you're better off spending it on a lightened flywheel...because that makes ALOT of difference

Yeah I guess a lot of us got into the solara/camry game a bit late for the support, it seems like everyone is starting to discontinue everything right now...

I WOULD be interested, but ehh... not at $300. Could find a local manufacturer who can make one cheaper for you.
