another RSB question

another RSB question

Postby Sap Z » Wed Jul 05, 2006 10:40 am

So i've done my share of reasearch on installation etc on the RSB since i'm getting mine maybe sometime next week (hurry Reggie! )

so..questions

1)i read a lot about ppl settign it on 'street' and then chaning it to track to get the feel'..or to get used to it.i dont understand what theere is to get used to. i mean..is it wrong to go to track right away? how is track diff from street?

2) does it have 2 or 3 settings?

3) so do i need to take the heat sheild off? i'm on stock suspension and muffler.

4) what comes in the box? does it come with grease and all the neccesary parts? or do i need to buy something?

thanks !

1. I had it on "street" settin' and then switched to "track" cause didn't know.

2. 2 settin': "street" and "track".

3. No need to take off heat shield. Though it would be helpful to take off the muffler.
So you don't have to wrestle that much to get it in.

4. Contents of box: TRD RSB, instructions, 2x poly bushin', and some lube.
But i would just go buy some White Lithium Grease, so you can apply alot so it won't squeak so soon.

Let me know if you need any help.

2) 2 settings

3) No, you don't, but u need to puzzle out OEM SB.

4) It comes with everything you need, basically, sway bar, 2 bushings and some grease, I would suggest you get some telfon tape, wrap it over where the bushing is going to be.

The track setting is the hole closer to the front of the car, in other words the hole thats NOT near the end of the bar.
