My bad for even doubting you Eric. Just paid a visit to teamsc3.com and they have a very good post about the headers. Soon enough i'll order these. How hard are they to install, what do you estimate the labor will be.

Yes I can. This was done on the same dyno with no other changes to the car except the headers. The A/F ratio was kept the same as was the fuel used, tire pressures, ect... The other charts along with contact info is on the header page.

I didn't include the run where I got 268.5 fwhp, my torque was 10ft/lbs less then the 266.1 fwhp pass becouse my fuel curve was off. Also on the before and after chart the wrong pass was selected as the after, its only at 263 (heat soaked) but its still dramatic to see before and after on the same chart.

Eric, I'm sure I'm just an idiot, but I don't seem to see any links for the charts on the header page.

I don't know but I would be intrested in finding out. Get a baseline, slapp on the headers and dyno again. Make sure you post the results :D :D

Same gear, same gas, same air/fuel ratio (12.5/1 via Apexi S-Afc), same tire pressure, same timing (I monitored a Obd-II scanner during the runns) and anything anything else I could think off to keep it the same. I don't think I missed anything???

Edit: I reset the ECU the day before I dynoed

We worked very hard to get the results shown in the graph. The first exhaust system we tried added 20hp and no torque. We were not happy with that and ripped everything out except the headers and re-did it all using smaller tubing (it was a educated guess if we needed smaller or larger tubing) and got the numbers you see. Alot of time, money and hard work went into this project but the results were well worth the effort.

You are asking in the wrong forums buddy. That's why they have forums called newcelica.org and everythingcelica.net

I was wondering if anyone else has ordered these
or if anyone knew if we could get a group price for some.

Headers would be nice on my car.

Customizeable?

Postby Guest » Sun Jan 05, 2003 6:47 pm

Hello everyone, I just recently bought a 2000 Solara SLE V6 A - I just wanted to know, from 1 to 10, ten being VERY customizeable, how customizeable is a Solara?

Also, do you guys know a good place online where to buy Alloy Wheels that would look sweet on solaras? :)
