from the looks of it, this is going to fall through.

Ok, so how is my friend in Australia supposed to figure out if he can afford it when he has no way to figure out the shipping?

Does ANYONE on this forum think anymore?????

c'mon now, that wasn't called for

how's your friend in australia supposed to order one when they aren't going to be made due to the fact that there aren't enough people in the group buy?

THINK

you must secure the fact the product is going to be made before hammering out details....like shipping

(and he's inferring i'm the stupid one)

and your friend isn't even on the list, which means that even if he bounces out of the GB, then we're still short people.

DATS - i'm not sure if the deadline has passed yet, but if it has not and we get 10 people on the GB, would there be a slight price drop from the $450-600 price quoted for the individually made ones?

Wow, you truely DON'T think. I would be fronting the money for it for him, and then shipping it over. I just mailed some car parts to 2 friends in Australia today, and have in the past, and will in the future. So if I can;t get a size/weight on the box, I can't get him (or any of my other Aussie friends) a shipping quote, so they won't bother.

Common sense in the US has gone away....

The guy has been busy so I will keep it open as long as I can. Might make it with 15 buyers but I can only go by what his demands are.

Shipping over seas total should be around 310-320 shipped (What I got on the phone but exact number will be known as soon as I find the old shipping size and weight.)

Hey chinky420, why are u trying to hinder a sale here.

Adam said he has a buyer from australia and u go on saying crap like who cares about shipping rite now. Im pretty sure u would be worried about shipping too if u were ordering something from another country..

ok, before board tensions escalate further, i'm gonna go ahead and man up, and just say sorry.

sorry.

i can come off as a dick. but really, the point i was trying to make was that if the group buy falls through, then the cost is going to be going up to 450-600 (at the time i made the comment) for a single. if your friend(s) were able to make the purchase regardless, then shipping kinda becomes a moot point, as 2x or 2.5x the price change isn't a big deal.

basically, i was looking to make sure square one was set before considering square two, or three.....which perhaps was shortsighted of me.

either way, asg14, what you said is right on, and i hope that your friend(s) in australia can help out by getting a unit or two.

Thanks man. I;m one of the FEW, that when I go into a group buy, and say that I will buy it, I won't back out unless there is some massive issue.

Too many people do it, and it;s why everything seems to fall through. I posted this on the Aussie Camry forums (I know a lot of them) to try to bring this to 20 ppl.

If worse came to worse, and I had to ship it, I think I can get it to Aus for around $200, but just needed the box size and weight to be sure. I really do want to see this group buy happen at least this 1 last time.

great product, great guy doing the deal. i don't understand why there is so much demand for this now, but when i posted mine for sale no one wanted it. go figure. if things fall through i still got mine up for sale (brand new too).
