^Yikes. My fitment had no problems, aside from me having to cut into my fender liner to access two of the mounting points. 3cm sounds like a lot. Try playing with it and adjusting/wiggling it to get it to fit. I know that some of the Gen6 guys on TN had a similar problem with their strut bars. Hope everything turns out okay, contact Evan ASAP if not.

Very interesting find guys! I was just bitching the other day how I hated how solaras handle. Would the 4-point bar installed drop lower than the TRD sideskirts? I only ask because I bottom out on my sideskirts every day on the speed bumps at my apartment with tein S springs.

Also since I haven't had a chance to look yet I figure Id just ask here, but the inner fender trim that has to be cut is that plastic or metal? Im guessing plastic, but just want to confirm.

^It's just plastic. Also, the lowest points of the bar (the lip that hangs down from the outer mounting points) are about 2.8-3" from the ground. they're the only thing I've bottomed out on with the bar on.
