^ actually.....you do need a tune if you want the power from it...an exhaust change can make quite a difference- especially in the way the powerband is

but after spending that much money, paying for a tune should be the least of your worries

exactly, Im not concerned about paying for the tuning... I just wants sure how necessary tuning was with headers...

regardless, I want these, and I want someone else to get in on this so I can get my discount!

There is a BIG need of tuning from bolt on exhaust mods, U can see it in the dyno charts i posted, when they ran the car with the pre-cats off and the new ypipe with the OLD Tune, the car was running leeeeeeeeeeeeean as screw. I do not think u'd want to do that all thinking ur safe, and runninng lean does give u more power, so u might not even feel the need to go tune till u pop the engine or pull a CEL.

all in all, these are great for the car, i wish i had gottn these, but im content with my setup (with the exception of my stock headers). But, u definitly need a tune after u get these things, like King said, the tune's price is petty change considered to the price of this setup, and the power u get.

okay we can agree we need tuning, thats fine... If any of us are dropping well over a grand on headers, we will most likely go through with tuning... I just threw headers and a full exhaust on my camry a few years back and noticed the gain right away with no tuning... it may not have been running PERFECTLY, I was just saying you could get away without tuning- its not like the car is going to blow up if you bolt headers on...

I know what you guys are saying though, it makes sense. Lets focus on getting the 5 people we need first, then we can worry about tuning later.

the deadline would be for half- they need half payment to start production, then half upon completion- so I would imagine a week or two after the initial payment.

We may have to just wait until enough people can do it, since we cant go ahead with 4... so that may work out.
