Limited V6 Exhaust Ypipe 1MZ *Update-Back 1 last time*

Gregtrd wrote:im pretty sure that theres two different y pipes for the 1mz. on my camry my exhaust manifolds have the cat.s on them which means that my y pipe is a bit shorter then the 1mz with exhaust manifolds that are cat.less, that y pipe is bit longer. when i say longer i mean interchanging them from manifolds with cats to catless manifolds. hope this doesn't confuse you.so would i have to get the the shorter ex. manif. for it to work with my camry. by the way my camry has a 1998 v6 engine it.

Im not sure about that . Past 2 years I hear both car fits perfectly. But thanks for pushing it. I shall check into that for your bro and get an answer straight out.

Good looking out.

List updated for my name. :)

As for the O2 simulator.
My friend suggested that you use a spark plug extender thingy.....
He said you can get it at AutoZone in the accesory ailse.
It will be a spark pulg entender i think, couldn't remember the name.
But he said wit the O2 simulator they would short out cause of rain and not a good connection.
So he's usin' a spark plug entender thingy for old muslce cars that run rich.
You would drill the bottom out i think, and the screw the O2 sensor on there and then bolt that on to the Y-pipe after the cat.
He said he's had it and it hasn't thrown a CEL on him yet, and he runnin' no cats either.
But i'm goin' to go to AutoZone soon, and check the ailse for the thing he told me last night, and confirm it.
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.

Friend had that. It doesnt throw CEL but it threw a fix it code to him. Failed his inspection on the computer part. It just tells the computer its going bad or think it is and fails. I think you have to get the right one to your car for it to work. its a 50 50 shot. Mine hasnt failed me and I droved my car into a lake once with it to go fishing.

Ok here is the deal, if this is going to take at least 1 month (late Oct, early Nov), then go ahead and add my name to the list.

Longer then a month. A month is the earliest but Im saying 2 months longest depending how long shipment takes on a big box full of 15 to 20 30lb pipings.

You guys are really making me exited at this project. At first I thought I would never get even 5 people wanting this. But now 13?!!!!!!!! I am regret not doing this earlier for you guys.

Makes me even exited to start on Gen 2 and maybe go into Exhausts too!!

Makes me think allot how the Gen 2 would jump on theirs if it gets rolling.

Other stuff I might jump and design for you guys are Intakes. It will look exactly like the Injen but maybe with a true Cold air extension? Nope Im not joking. With my current connection I can make quite a few things.
