Coilover / Aggressive Fitment Questions

Sadly, D2's don't really go any lower, Jon. (BTW, go to your sig options and enable BBCodes to get your sig pic to work)

napster, good look, have you though about removing the lock collars up front? Minimal but you'd get at least another 1/4-1/2" of low. Hopefully, Megan follows through on what I've discussed with them and the final beta protos I'm waiting on will go that much lower without compromising the CVs/axles.

I think you sidewall of your tires look like 45 series??
Maybe 40 series sidewalls would make the car a tad lower??

im surprised urs are all bottomed out.

When i had the jic's i was able to be tucked front and back.

Image

^^in this set up i could of lowered the front about .75" more and a total of 1" lower if i took off the collars.
The rears could of been lowered about 2 inches more....

I have a feeling the 17's isnt helping you with the stance you want. Move up to 18's. If you want cheap ones i suggest isx50 wheels (like mine) g35 18x8 +30's or 350z 18's or etc.

BTW those are sexy shots of the solara man.

thanks for the comment guys, i'll have some still shots today. i thought about going with 40 series tires, but before i get a set of tires i want to invest in some new wheels, which will be probably 18's. a friend of mine is going to help me take the front collars of and go about another .5" lower all around.

as far as the lip goes, what year/model honda do you guys suggest i get? which one is the easiest to fit?

Ahh thanks Brian, was wondering why it wasn't working.

I totally forgot about removing the collars for moar low. Get a Acura CL front lip, it requires some cutting on the sides to fit nicely however.

Not a bad look you have... I guess the K-sports just don't go low enough.

Here are some updated shots of how my car sits now. I had to raise the rear just a tad due to rubbing issues and my drive way.
I still need to work out some kinks before I can go lower in the rear. Rear sitting at Neg 1.7* camber, but you can't really see if in the pics.

BTW These are not the 9.5" I have been working on.
These are the 18x8.5" with +20 offsets rear
Fronts are 18x8.5" with +35
Tires are 225/40

My 9.5" have 235/40. But I can't get them to work without rubbing too much until I work out all the kinks.

Sorry for the glare in the last picture, It was taken for the hell of it during mid day. These were not the greatest pics, I took them by my house

Looks nice. I think the 9.5 setup your trying would be just about perfect.
Keep working on making them fit. I'd like to see better shots too. :)

'Bout fackin' time Kenny! I was talking to Albert and Greg about test-fitting your wheels on my car (luckily for you, they said, "Hells to the no! Kenny will kill us!")

^^ Hahaha..

Thanks.. yea I that why I love these wheels, The rear concaves more in then the front and you should see the concave on the 9.5's, Its insane, but I am trying to get them to work with my set-up. I just don't have the time to be playing around with them right now due to the move and work.

They are Miro Type 111 - Normally these wheels are made for the newer BMWs MB and other Germany cars.
This was a ONE-OFF set. They do NOT make these wheels in 5x114.3, they are normally in 5x120 however a friend of mine works for them and was able to get a set of Blanks that haven't been finished and had them drilled to 5x114.3 for me (I had to pay extra but was well worth the wait).

I got six wheels from them.
(2)18x8.5 +35 offset
(2)18x8.5 +20 offset
(2)18x9.5 +20 offset
