no problem man. Its all good, there will be other track events and chances to make fools out of other drivers in the Camry. Anyways, I'm too busy in the Honda world researching mods/info on the Fit that I almost forget about my car. Hehe, damn all these crazy Honda parts and tweaks, its mind boggling trying to sort our rice-mods from the real deal.

Dont worry Dat, just take your time, and I'm not bummed over the delivery stuff. Its still all good!

it might. I know that there were some guys over at TN that used the JPP headers. Check with those guys to see if they needed to modify the JPP setup to fit on their projects. Dont remember exactly if they swapped in a 1MZ or stayed with the 3vz, but I believe Ratco was one of the guys who swapped and used the JPP setup.

Sorry for the lengthy background info. If you can find out if you can use the JPP setup, you can use this y-pipe.

I have tried to keep up with this thread, but I am real busy so its hard for me to go back and read all of the pages. So, I have a couple of questions that I just want to make sure of
1. Assuming that I get the version with the mid pipe and use a cat ( I would buy a high flow cat) this should not cause a CEL right?
2. Is this mod going to be significantly loud? I know that DatsRBoi posted a video, but you have lots of other mods and is kind of hard to tell from a video. I have the Cp-e intake, and I love that because you can't really hear it under normal accleration, but when you gun it, it lets you know :) Is this a similar sound scenario?

Thanks in advance for any repsonses.

Its 291 shipped with only Mid pipe version avaliable. Since I think its better that way for everyone.

Yes adding a high flow cat keeps the CEL off and with the mid pipe version you can still put on the straight pipe when ever you want without issue.

Sound wise It moves all the noise towards the middle of the car rather to the back. Makes the car more of a V8 then a V6 sound. Its a humble sound and can be quiet but can get loud too when WOT or after a very very long drive in hot weather. IMO I feel like its more quiet with the Y pipe on then with the stock on when driving.

Some good thing about the Y pipe is that it moves the power band towards the middle rather at low end range. Helps put less abuse to the tranny and there isnt allot of back pressure. (Youll notice it allot on manual tranny because it wont downshift)

Its IMO more beefier then the intake.
