^^^ And that makes 5. Looks like the group buy is a go.

Again, I won't be able to come up with the money for at least another month. December would even be better, but Novemebr may be possible.

i cant believe people are willing to pay that much..
no offense..
seriously tho, if you go to a good fab shop, they can do just as good or better of a job for much less

that shop i am going to use is very well trusted and makes things for companies around the world. i showed them a pic of the JPP headers.. they laughed and said "people pay more for lesser quality?"

anyway, they have built me custom things before.. so i can trust them.. i realize you guys wouldnt know them so its cool.. however, i am going to be the guinea pig on this one too.. if you like it (which i am sure you will) i can ask how much for a group buy.

I think we all want a dyno proven, tried-and-true, bolt on power benefiting exhaust. JPP's track record is flawless and we know the gains are there- you cant beat that, even if it does cost you a little more...

I dont feel comfortable having a shop weld up some random pipes- when it comes down to it, everyone says they can do it for cheaper with bigger gains- some of them can, but a lot of them just want your money.

Im sure you can get something done cheaper and that may be a better route, but let's keep this thread to discussion of the group buy and for the people that know they want JPP's product...

No offense taken..

I've had custom work done before. The guy assured me he could do a better job for less money. Well, about a year later, my flex pipe cracked. He put it in a bad location. No R&D. So, bottom line, you get what you pay for.

JPP invested lots in their R&D. They now offer a proven set of headers. And don't let anyone tell you they can use better material. 304 stainless is just about the best you can get. There is better, but its crazy expensive.

If you think you can get a better product for less, I wish you lots of luck. Seriously. I'm not being sarcastic. Good luck getting something better.

thats cool tho..

i will post my dyno results as well after they are installed... and believe me they wont be some random pipes just welded together... not to mention these will be longer equal length runners instead of the jpp short style.. its cool tho.. to each his own, thats what makes it great..
i am glad to see more companies making things for us!!

i know...
honestly, i would have been interested in it too, but i am frugal to a point..
its not like other cars i have had... there was so much competition in parts manufactures.. prices were much lower... so i am not used to this

i may be a little frugal, however, i wont buy any crap and put it on my car either

anyway, waiting to see what the total cost is for jpp headers

Alright, I just heard back from Jose at JPP=

The word is yes, we will be able to buy different parts/amounts of the kit. He said it will be more difficult, but we can work it out.

He is going to calculate what the discount on each would be with 5 buyers, but he wanted me to let everyone know half of the payment will be due up front before the headers are produced- He wants to know that we are all serious and said that usually scares some people off.

Could we all work with a deadline for half of the payment sometime in late november or early december if we had to? i asked him if a december deadline would work or if that is too far off, so ill see what he says- let me know if you guys are really serious about this and your time frame for half payment and we can work from there.

Lets get this done guys, i really want headers :)

This is perfect for me. I've had it in my head for a while now that headers would be my next mod. I could easily come up with half of the cost in Nov.

This is great. Thanks for doing this.
