those aem by-passes only work if the entire filter is submerged otherwise they don't engage.
also as far as one piece cai's aem makes many of them for different applications and has been for years, thus there is not really anything unusual about xerd designing a one piece

hey guys... i dont think we have a whole lot to worry about from XERD, i just got done at about 3 other forums where the IS boys love their products, and 2 other forums where the Mitsu guys say the same... XERD, so where are the pictures of the intake actually on the car, that you say you test fitted today.

Yups I agree enough with the pressuring we should just wait, even if it takes him another day or so. I mean what if the guy got sick, the test car owner didn't show, his comp got a blaster worm, etc. There's a world of occurences that could have happened. We all have waited this long, what's another few days?

actually he should of kept his word for a tuesday release of dyno numbers.. i want my three days to decide whether or not i still want to get the CAI for the numbers it puts up... because isnt friday the group buy deadline for 179, then the price skyrockets to 299 (yuck!)...... Dyno Runs please.... sorry for the impatience

Besides the dyno numbers like danny said would not show huge gains, becuase the purpose of the CAI is to lower intake temperature, therefore you won't see gains really, but more like not as much power loss due to hotter air.
