there aren't 2500 solara modders in the world... and if there are, 2500 will not be on the internet and looking for projectors.

let's just get a groupbuy on LS 430 projectors and do our own retrofitting (SC 300/400 ones if you don't have HIDs)

Jeff, you are so right. Please build some momentum for us and get the lexus projector gb going. Thanks Jeff.

You've seen 2 modded solaras... but at least 10 modded civics, right?!

ok guys. it's over. Lets just do our own retrofits. Whoever wants to try (local), let's do it!

Jeff, would you like me to swing by today after 3 p.m. when I get off work? I live several blocks away from where you work.

lol sorry... I've been away on business on and off the past few weeks, so limited ability to get much done.

I got an initial quote of $50 off for group buys of 5... the place is nearby where I live so I'm going to follow up in person and try to get more off... IMO $50 is not much if we get like 10-20 people.

^^ are you talkin 50 off from 1000? that is extremely expensive for a pair of headlights. i think we should just keep on searching for companies that would make projector headlights for our car.. im so confused on how civics, the most boring car on earth, has many different type of hook ups. while our car where we can garauntee 50 ppl to buy the product got rejected...! im hella pissed off coz i really want projectors. Guys keep on tryin... i wish i knew who to contact but i really dont. so keep it up and try the best to get this over with

So TRAFFICBLOWS, were you able to deal with them for more of a discount? You should tell them we got like 56 people wanting to do this.

I highly doubt they'd give a bigger discount. It's not like they're making a single mold, and making headlights out of them. They actually have to open each headlight assembly by hand, put the projectors in, and test/level it..its hard to discount the price rate of labor.

I just came across this being new and all, and kind've agree... we seem to be screwed.

However I'm just putting in my word if it comes downa significant amount from a grand I'm in.

And also to everyone saying they'd find buyers eventually, they'd still be tkaign the risk and look at it from this POV. If you're so certain they'll find the buyers over a long enough timespan, then just sign on for 2,000 orders and make it YOUR money your risking... you won't because you don't know that peopel will buy it, especailly when you only have 50 people readily available. When you look at it that way you see what they're saying. It's business, you're not going to do somethign you won't profit from.
