I'm on my 2nd set of Invo's (235/35R19) and hands down the best performance tire i've owned yet. They have the excellent dry traction (cornering) and do just fine in the rain - although the solara is rarely out of the garage unless its sunny...

Thanks! im looking at buying some! having a debate right now, also made a thread and poll

thanks for the answer, the invos are my 1st choice but cost the most... would you say its totally worth it though? whats tread life like? and braking grip? etc

Been riding on Yokohama H rated tires 205/65/15 for awhile now. Not sure which Yokohamas they are. Love em, but I don't have much to compare to since it's the first set of tires I've bought for my car... ever. And I've been driving my car for 5 years.

I think I've been riding on them for at least 40k miles now. Not bald yet, but it's on its way. Cost me just about $100 a pop.

All 225/50/R17's

-first- Toyo Proxies, were good tires a little too much road noise but were good in Wet/dry/Snowy conditions
-second- Yoko Sdrives- great traction on dry and we pavement not winter tires. very quiet and smooth riding
-Thrid- Now running Nitto Neo Gen's- for the money hands down one of the best tires on the market. Great tread, Super Solid side wall's and ride nice and smooth. second set now and they are great in Wet and Dry conditions and respond well in snow too. I would Recommend to anyone needing new tires wether it be stock wheels or larger with staggered fitments

Really?
first - cause my friend Travis with his honda civic SiR turbo has proxie 4 and love them, not alot of road noise on his car, even for his being 225/30R18

second - my friend Kris and i both agree his 225/35R18 Nitto Neo Gen suck on his 2007 cobalt ss supercharged. The back end will slide out like a mad man and this is driving not full bore. He is scared to go even close to what he did with his STOCK pirelli tires that he use to have but wore them down so far. We both agree that the tires have mediocre grip and low handling for the money you pay, you may get better tread life but thats about it.

just my opinion...

ive never had a handling issue with the neogens at all. good tires for the money if you ask me man.
the proxies were a little over priced for tread life

I got 17" Dunlop SP Sports... Very happy with them. I have bought less expensive tires in the past.. Its not worth it though.

If you get a better tire they will last longer and hold the road much stronger and predictably.

Dont cheap out on tires! They are the only thing the touches the road with your car.
