well technically they are right but it depends on the direction of the veins. since mine are rotors are not directionally veined, then it really does not matter. but they said to do the opposite of what Dat and Damon. they said that it helps preserve the life of the pads. so there really is no wrong answer when it comes to these rotors.
almost there...what do you think?

I need to explain better so that no one will get me wrong.

Thats how they are usually LOOK cut and drilled for street and track use on the car. I do not know how R1 concept do theres but you MUST follow these steps to make sure they are just like any other rotors.

The way I told you how to put them on is how general after market brand name rotors are to be put on. You are NOT suppose to follow by how the slots and drill points are but by how the Inside of the rotors are.

Are those rotors complete true blacks OR are they vented? meaning are they cut inside like this?

Image

looking into that part of the rotor will tell you how those sets are suppose to go on.

generally you want the rotor to spin in a way where the fins inside those rotor pushes air FROM CENTER TO OUTTER of the rotor. The drills and slot will not tell you which direction they go on. Again thats just the widely use look pattern they go on the car. You Must go by what the fin points inside..

here is my drawing..

Image

This is the driver front rotors. You look through those cracks to see which way the fins are faced and put them on to where when the car moves forward that the fins pushes the air outwards of the rotor and NOT to the center of the rotors..

Hope that explains it better.
