I would think just jacking up the car would relieve any pressure on the RSB.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

to install the rsb im assuming you just gotta take the rear wheels off the ground..

i just installed my RSB the other day, just jack the rear end of the car up and you'll be able to install it. And yes, track setting is the way to go, the car handles amazingly

up til where the wheels are off the ground??

but if you jack it up from the rear (assuming the center rear of the car is where the jack is at).. how are you gonna install the rsb if the jack is in the way.. (if you dont have jack stands or something.

oh i had stands, and yes the wheels were offf the ground. I think it would probably be too unsafe to just rely on your jacks alone. So i dont know in your case

You will need to jack up the car on jackstands where you can take the wheels off for more room to work wit.
If you jack up one side in the air, and have the other side on the ground you'll be puttin' tension on the RSB and it will be a bitche to take off.
You got to have both sides up in the air equally.

I didn't use jackstands when I installed mine, only the jack was used. The wheels weren't taken out since it is not necessary.

he talks about every mod that way once he finally installs it

and guys, seriously- INVEST IN JACK STANDS!!! It is so unbelievably dangerous to work under your car with a jack alone. One kick or nudge and youve got 3200 pounds of metal on your gut... I always use jack stands and then leave the jack with about an inch of play as well just in case- if I am under there for an extended time I use two sets of jackstands. its incredibly dangerous not to use them and they are really cheap.
