So teh resinator basically reduces noise??? and it wouldn't be harmful to do this? ALso... does it help? Please post pics.. im almost sure what it is and where.. its white right?

THe air goin to the block will still go threw the filter right? I haven't checked it out yet... but will the tube be dangling or is it even a tube that was connected to the resinator? thanks

i removed the black connecter piece with the 3 holes in it and it does make the engine slightly louder but its not a bad sound if your exhaust system is stock <which mine is>. has anyone ever removed the muffler to see what it sounds like ? under our cars it looks like there are 2 mufflers and a cat ... anyone know?

Yes, it's annoyingly loud. If you want the cops after you, this is the route you want. There is only one muffler and the next unit before you reach the cat is a resonator.

Not only is it annoyingly loud, but extremely hard on valves if run that way for any amount of time. Not to mention, it'll never meet emissions without the cat in place.
