Got a reply from Garret. He says the kit will probably be ready in about 2weeks(Middle of Dec???). Guess I'll be holding off until I get back from vacation since no one will be around to pick it up.

No offense but I think it's hilarious that you guys would pay someone extra money for a grounding "kit" Why don't you just buy some 0 gauge wire, terminals for it, and some wire tires? This is something anyone can do themselves with a knife, wire cutters, crimpers, and a drill.

I just don't understand why you would pay someone to take some measurments for you, and cut the wire and install terminals.

No offense, just suggesting people do some of there own thinking and customizing.

If youre going to say this, you might as well buy the "Universal Kits" off of eBay...

Its all about 100% nickel quality terminals and connectors...

and for 0 guage wiring... why dont you go out there and find out how much it will cost you
fitment with 0 guage wiring is also pretty tough in terms of making the engine bay look clean
Retired... its been fun Image

I don't need comments like this on my post. . . if you don't like it fine you don't have to read it. . . keep it to your self like a majority of the people have. . . The people that have posted are interested and I am pretty sure rest of the forum members are probably hating on it or just don't want one. . . So why don't you be like them and stay quiet and stop being a hater and talking down on people

Why didnt you try something like this instead making your own. Im sure you could get this to work and it would have been cheaper. But anyway I find it hard to believe that this is worth doing for hp gains. Its probably an unnoticable gain. Can you explain this better?

my new retard list

Postby solow1605 » Tue Nov 29, 2005 10:33 pm

WoW. For those of you talking smack. First of all, you need lives, secondly, and more importantly, you dont know what you're talking about. so SHUT THE HELL UP! If you have the wires, you WILL like them. There's a reason why people spend the money. So instead of being jerks and flaming this guy's post, keep your stupid ass comments to yourselves and spend your time doing some research. Sure kits CAN be made, but I highly doubt that you can make a better kit than what they have made. So you have fun burning your car down. Stock and the others will continue to have clean rides.

Wasn't trying to flame you, I was just asking what is the difference between the greddy one and yours. If they are the same im just saying you could have save some of your cash. But can you explain how you get some hp out of it. I just dont see the logic i guess. The way I understand it is if you ground your engine with the battery and the frame you get a better ground to the wheels. This probably relieves the alternator of some wear and tear. But the alternator is still connected to the accessory belt. Which is still adding resistance. I just dont see where there are gains thats all.
