Good thing it's almost summer here in San Diego.

I just got the 2.75"X3" extension. and installed it between the CAI and INJEN.
I put extra effort on tying up the INJEN filter to the CAI cos I feel kinda insecure with the filter down there where my eyes can't see.
I still need to test it out though. However, it's true that I think I lost some low end torque before 2000RPM, but it seems like I did get some more HP above 3000RPM. Don't know why.... I think my cardbox mod might have been a better mod... anywyas... it looks cool when I pop the hood XDDDD

I'll post pictures tomorrow when I got time, cos it's night time right now.

Oh one thing, the "extension" I bought was supposed to be for an exhaust, I wonder if it's okay to put it there, or will I need to treat it before I put it in to make sure it's not going to break pieces off and ruin my engine.

Well went and tried to do the install and had the same problem as everyone else and i'm not exactly down with cutting shyyt so i'm gonna go ahead and do an extension but rather than using a pipe as an extension i'm gonna use a slightly longer hose to connect the extension to the injen... I'll let everyone know after i go n buy it how it goes... i'm hoping that now that all the OEM intake stuff is out of the way the second time around will be quick.

yeah i had not the luxury of working on it for more than one day. This was the only day i had a break. I did not even have a sufficient amount of tools and it took 2 hours for me to take out the danm fender ahhhh but all together 6 hours but i had a 9" aem filter which kinda gave me a problem and i bent about an inch of the metal back so it looks neat. And im loving the power and a better dif in mpg but nor so much the broken back lol. Good looks rand and try and get the pipes extended a bit, heard Viagra is good.

9" sounds huge.... I didn't have to take out my fender with the original injen filter, just unbolted a few screws, and sneaked it in.

I would like to get another filter though. Do you think a K&N worth the money?

I know this is over 4 years late, but I just got one of these extensions. I did manage to get it in, so if anyone has one they never installed, I made a tutorial with pictures.
