In this case (being a projector lighting setup) we would have to go to a D2S bulb on the HIDs. Yup... :wink:

Exactly, thats..not many people understand projectors isn't equate to HID's (thats why i asked in the first page my question; if it was a halogen projector)! I have OEM projectors on my ES300, sorry, but besides silverstarts, i'm really out of options there!

I guess we should have a another catagory - Color, gen, and HID/Non-HID

I am assuming most of the people who are in on this have Gen1s and are going to use HIDs, since the housing will presumably cost as much as an HID upgrade.

I would like to see a Black Gen1 housing designed for a 9003 HID replacement kit, but can also be used with halogens.

I dont know what effect it would have on the focus/pattern if you put halogens behind a HID Projector lens though...

I don't think the company makes the HID projector, only halogen.

Halogen projectors w/ the HID bulb in it will still be like halogen reflectors w/ HIDs... (I think)

check out a HID and find out... I'm too lazy since I'm HID-less

My contact, Mike, is pursuing two different companies as possible vendors for our lights. What they can make is unknown at this time but as soon as I know, everyone here will know I promise you that.

OMG OMG OMG, add me to this list! Gen4 Camry- this car is so unloved, but I'd be nice to have projectors or at least a different housing from stock.

Hey Castro,

With this initial group buy we trying to get the Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 Solara. If our lights were interchangeable with your Camry it would be sweet but they are not. Stand by and lets see how this group buy goes and we can work it from there.
