a lot of people run with just a y pipe, but not the jpp y pipe... Im sure it would give you a gain with minimal sound increase.

no doubt, you scored a good deal! Its understandable, I was just like noooo its one step back again...

Any group buy with the camry/solara community is tricky to pull of, but I think we are close enough that we may be able to get 5. If it doesnt work out over the winter Im just going to buy myself a set, I just thought Id save some money and save other people some money as well...

Alright, I heard from Jose again this afternoon. He said production will take 3 weeks after all of our half payments are in, then the final payment will be due and the shipping will begin. He said to give him a call to make payment, so i know some of us cant yet and we want to be sure we have 5 before we go sending money in. He also wanted me to give him a list of our names so he can keep everything straight. Im going to start a final sticky thread with all of the info so people wont have to read through 8 pages.

You're mostly right. The stock manifolds aren't amazingly flow-friendly, but the vast majority of the gain is made from removing the idiotic stock y-pipe, which actually rams the rear bank's flow almost head-on into the front bank's flow as it heads to the back of the car.

I have a custom y-pipe on my 1MZFE that goes from 2" off the manifolds into 2.5" after the y-, and for all intents and purposes, I might as well have headers :)

I got the similar setup as conor. supercharged 1mz in a mr2. ill be down for the last person of this GB if they can cut a small deal. i only want to get the headers and ypipe up to the flex pipe section. i dont need the cat. or that extra piping. Is that possible? to get in contact with JPP to see if they would do that for me.

excuse the low post count please*

totally forgot what my log in was.. its been a while
