Fancy new calipers!
Finally got some time to get some work done on my car. Ive had the Supra/ES300 brake conversion parts sitting around so decided to put a lil DIY thread together for u guys.
1. Here's the ES300 dual piston caliper (re-man) fresh out of the box:

2. I ground off a bit of the face to get a nice even, and smooth surface:

3. Then i applied 3 coats of Dupli-Color silver metallic caliper paint:

4. A friend of mine is pretty damn good at making vinyl graphics, so had him size up the TRD logo and we cut it with a vinyl plotter. (yes, if anyone wants some just shoot me a pm - $10/pair to cover my time, vinyl, and postage)

5. Now the 1st coat of Dupli-Color red metallic paint:

6. I think this is after the 2nd or 3rd coat.. was kinda buzzed off the paint fumes... i think i did about 3 light coats and a wet 4th one.

7. And here's the finished product after peeling off the vinyl graphic (be sure to peel it carefully and relatively soon after the last coat)

So what do u guys think? Im pretty happy with the results, and will post pics once everything is installed. For those that arent familiar, or dont wanna search, the upgrade involves ES300 front calipers, EricSol (now known as Gabe's) caliper spacers, Supra front rotors, ES300 rear rotors, and ES300 rear caliper brackets. Since i have a '99, my rear calipers are already bigger than 00(?) and up, so those guys will need the '99 calipers too. Im using EBC green stuff front pads, ceramic rears, and stainless steel lines on all 4 corners.

Props to EricSol, trd4life (Gabe), and ASG14 (Adam) for pioneering this conversion and keeping the production of the caliper spacers alive!
