I see.
Well look on the back side of the rims and it will say "18 x 8" and there will be another number near by on another spoke wit "J" or "JJ", that will be your offset.
By the lowerin' springs first personally and then look into spacers.
It took me a couple of weeks to figure out what width spacers i wanted and needed to get.
Also you get what you pay for parts you buy.
Personally save up and get a good quality parts for you car.
There are only certain things that you should skimp out on parts.

now look for a number that is engraved or stamped into the wheel. typically on the backside of one of the spokes. "35", "38", "40", "45", etc. that will be the offset.

18x8...225/40/18...40 mm offset...you do not need spacers. If you lower, you will most likely have to shave or roll your rear fenders. Exactly the setup I used to run and I had to thoroughly shave my rear fenders to clear without rubbing with passengers or heavy cornering. however, I am lowered.

If you want a flush look in the rear get 5 mm spacer.
"CamryOnBronze" has his wheel setup wit Gram Lights wit the same offset, but he was on coilovers.
If you have a friend who has a fender roller it makes it so much easier and better.
