I'd have to say S Techs are the most popular around here for gen 1s

How many miles? Me personally, I wouldn't buy used suspension parts.

Those springs are the best thing you can do to a Solara. The stock springs are crap compared to them. Just looking at the stock springs they look wimpy and cheap next to teins.

Tein springs are good..
But if you can get a good set of TRD struts I would do it.

Eibach and Tein are both good brands.
I think Greg has a good set of TRD struts and Eibach and Tein springs.

You should hit him up.
I've seen them in person and they are in pretty good condition.

if you searched, you would find that the most common aftermarket lowering kit on the gen 1 platform is the tein s-tech spring and tokico blue strut combo. if you searched further, you would see that it is highly recommended to not put lowering springs on oem struts. the struts will not be able to handle the added stress and will blow very quickly. If you lower, you need tokico or trd (bilstein) struts for max durability.

We both live in North County SD so I would say definitely stay out of North County for the install. Especially any slimey places like Express Tire or Big O anywhere in SD. North County is full of high ballers who will definitely try and take advantage of you. But you might find good service in escondido. Actually I know a guy who might be good for you who took care of me last time. Give me a PM when you get all your parts.
