8.5 is a common width on the gen 1 solara.

hey camryonbronze, When u had ur evo5's , how low were ur coilovers on those shots? looks nasty ( in a good way)

n-e ways... I saw a pair of evo 5's for sale around my house, maybe looking to pick them up... the only thing stopping me is the crappy 205 40 17's he won't sell without...

205 40 on 17's would have a huge gap and a difference in the speedometer....

anyone run 205 40's on a solara?

lolll if I do anything with those evo5's is sell those tires and get some nice 225 50's to fill up the whole gap... I used to have a corolla with 205 55 15's with stock suspension and it was gorgeous ( for a corolla ) very little gap and i rolled\hammered the fenders in.
