This product has been mentioned before in another post.
http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php? ... highlight=

It replaces your Upper Radiator Hose with a glass hose that have rubber ends. It's made out of Pyrex Glass which is nearly unbreakable. An LED is incorporated to light up giving the antifreeze a glowing appearance. I know we hate to see are cars look riced out, but im just hoping this product is unique enough that people on this forum would be interested in.

Product:
KillerGlass Upper Radiator Hose

Vehicle:
Gen 1/1.5 1MZ V6

Cost:
$150 + Shipping

Site:
http://killerglass.com

The company has contacted me already letting me know they will create this product for our vehicles. They will discount the price to $150 instead of $200. I am not sure on how many people have to participate but I should know within the next 48 hours. Please let me know if you are serious and interested. Thanks Again

I think it's cool, but I wouldn't use the LED's. To me the LED's take it to that step of rice.
Plus it's a good way to see bubbles and maybe evein if oil get's into your coolant.

"WARNING" - DO NOT place your new toy in the freezer. Pyrex Glass is NOT intended to be frozen. Going from freezing cold to room temperature, or body heat, may shock the glass causing it to fracture. DO NOT FREEZE

So what about Sub Zero temps??

I don't mind this on other cars, but it is not for me especially at that price. Good luck getting a group buy though.

BTW KILLA, I am in west WV, I didn't realize you were in my region. :)
Trust me, I'm a technician.

I think I saw this at NOPI a few years ago. I think It was supossed to be helpful to drifters and other hard driving so you would always be able to tell if you had coolant. I think there was even a little talk about fuel lines too. They were alot cheaper wehn I saw them, they gave us one to try out on a 240.

TRDSleeper wrote: I saw that they had the generic race tube which cost $100 instead of $200 for the usual hose I saw on Scions. The only difference is that the race tube does not have an LED built into it. The standard length is 5 inches but I found out they could make it up to 8 inches long so I ordered the 8 inch one. It fits great so check it out.

Why don't you just do what TRDSleeper did and buy the $100 race tube instead of trying to go with a GB.
