well its time to change out the stock speakers and i need opinions on tweeters my price range is about 60 bucks so whats the best sound i can get

It depends what kinda sound you're looking for. The hard dome tweeters will give you that tsk tsk tsk, really sharp highs, snappy sounds.

The soft dome tweeters will give you a more natural soft high.

My personal preference is silk....unless you like the tinny, high-pitched sound. Silk just gives a more natural sound.

I had a similar question many years ago.

I went to a local dealer that had both silk and aluminum domed tweeters (Diamond Audio)

The silk had a warmer, softer, more pleasant tone.

The aluminum seemed too "tinny".

Hope that helped a little.

I would suggest that you save a little more money and get some speakers that are a better quality. For $60, you probably wont get someithing that you like.

I prefer silk in the car and metal at home.

Metal ones produce very detailed sound, but too sharp when they're so close.
