I'm at work, it's Saturday, sunny day, I'm inside, it's boring, so I did a little "collage" of how HID looks on a Gen1 Solara, for every Kelvin HID that I saw on SG.

Hope that nobody mind if I took some pics, I wrote the name of the owner just in case.

thanks for watching..

very nice collage! Although, I must say that Mr. Chunkz is running projectors, that's why they might look a little bit more bluer than mine. Good job tho!

The goal is not to say who's looking cool or not,it's to do a tread where we can see how the HID colors looks on our cars, to help doing a choice.

I like Mr_Chunkz color, it looks cool on a black car. I also love the 4500K on the white Solara. I will probably go with 5000k if I make the move, Im not sure yet.

duh. thats why im laughing because I've been through nearly every color on the realistic spectrum. first had 4300k, then 6k, then 8k, then finally 5 k. im just lauhing because I remember wheN I had 8k I didnt like it. so yeah to each their own , mang. I finally decided to keep my 5000k setup and I liked it so much, I put it in my fogs.

The bf of my sister has a XG350 2002 with a weir color "Canton Cherry Pearl Clearcoat", and for sure "pink" HID would look amazing, like 30000K or something, but output would not more more then his halogen projectors.

I just dislike when people put things like green, blue, pink, red(front) bulbs for flashers lol, for HID I think every colors are cool depend of the car.

:D Im happy if you guys like the "collage", it was the goal!

yes to answer any questions i have 8000k fog only 6000k headlight
i love the look, directly in front of the car and shooting to the sides of the car is an iceberg blue intense light, i think it looks dope. If you actually notice the diff between my 6000k d2s in projector and the pic below me in reflector the light hue being thrown off of the headlight ONLY ( pay attention to directly outside the headlight, the color of the glow around it ) it is exactly the same color. My 50W 8000k fog play a big role in making the whole thing look blu

glad i'm not the only person remembering this...

btw, I have 5000k in the headlights and 3000k in the fogs, IMHO my visibility could only be better with projectors...which I hope to do soon!

regardless, nice work on the comparison! taking the time to do that is a huge help and should be commended!!! :D

Nice gallery you put together! That pic you have of my car doesn't really do the justice since that pic was taken with my flash on at night. So you can see the difference, this picture was taken with the flash off which shows the light a bit more intensified
