Hi guys, I found a good price set of mags, with 205/50/17 tires, tires almost done,10% left, but mags are in perfect conditions.

Do you think it would look nice on my Solara 99 super white?

I saw on 1010tires.com that it fit almost perfectly, 0,870% too slow.

Is it a good upgrade for 1", how harder will it be on roads?

$300 is good price or too much?

thanks!

JDM? the car is made in Canada..

JDM looks?

I dont want to pay $1200 for mags. I saw them for $350, called the guy and he said $300, maybe I can lower it.

I also saw some matrix 17" "TRD" mag 2006, but they ask $1000 with almost new tires.

They wont look too bad if they didn't have the little grooves in the spokes..
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

You read my mind, the wheels IMO look great, but I think they would look 10 times better with out the groove/indention. If you could get the 2nd set of wheels, the 5 spokes...I love the way the look on a DWP Gen 1. I would go with those over the gunmetal ones.

After I saw others pics of the gunmetal, I don't like them enough to buy those, same if they are $300.

I like the 5 spokes but my gf said me that they look nice like on a stock car. I maybe want something else then a "stock" look if I pay $1k. My friend ha a black BMW with homemade black paint rims with polish lip, they look amazing. I prefer this bad boy look over the common 5 spokes.

Im gonna wait until I find the one I love...the summer is just beginning here in Canada! My stock 16" mag vibrate a lot at 60, the car was not well care when I got it, so all the tires are not worn equal. that's why I want so bad new rims+tires..Im scare tha the mag are bent or something so it's not just the tires who make the car vibrate..I don't want to spend $500 on falken tires and still vibrate..better to spend the double and be sure, mywinter tire+winter rim were not vibrate,so the alignement is ok(I did the alignement 8 months ago)

I wanted the Gen2 17" mag, I saw 1 guy seeling it near my city but he is asking $650 (was on a 2004 solara) and he doesn't want to lower the price..so :(

Whatever you decide, don't just settle for something because you can afford it. I've made this mistake too many times before. If you have to, wait and save to get what you really want. It will be worth it. I have waited a year to buy a new suspension system but now I'm glad I waited instead of just buying what I could afford at the time.

Hi guys!! I need another opinion!

One of my friend bought a brand new mazda 3 gs black and put 215/45/17 falken tires on new mags. Paid over $1200.

He wants something very light now and I offered him $500 for mags+tires. He wants $700. Im sure I can make a deal at $600 or less for mags + tires. Tires and mags have 3 months and about 3K. He is a cop so he doesn't drive like a crazy. He said he did a little scratch with a sidewalk while parking, nothing bad.

Im not 100% sure but they look like on this picture that I found on web.

Mags RTX Poison 17" with 215/45R17 tires.

Image

Is it a good deal? I think so but Im asking... Will it look good? Im a fan of big polish lips black mags, but at this low price..

will it fit ? 215/45/17 +42 offset.
Do I need spacers? if yes, How much cost spacers?where to buy?
I know that the tire calculator say 4% off..no big deal I guess.

Im on the 16" solara mags..summer tires are almost scrap.. and they vibrate a lot so Im anxious that my mags are scrap too. That's why Im interest on theses mags.

:D Im french so that's why sometimes I use wrong words! lol

I live in Canada, Quebec, and our roads are really bad. I went to hampton beach NH and Vermont, when I crossed the border, the roads were so much nicer.

I can't go with 19", or Im gonna need to watch road holes like a freak and it's gonna be hard for the car.

I want theses rims + tires because I can get them for 600$ or less..only 3 months old falken tires and rims.
Do I need spacers?
