What do you think?

I think I'm going to get this made at Blackcat.

http://www.blackcatcustom.com/

Edit- I'm a little shocked that some think this is gawdy. I didn't add anything except for "solara" in the background. I changed the colors to better match my cars exterior.
Maybe because these colors are a little too vivid on photoshop. It looks a little cartoonish. I think if I were to get it made, the colors would be more subtle.

I like it.

Hm... well, personally I don't like it at all. Like HSK said, it seems gaudy. But if you do and it's your taste, go for it. As has been said on SG before, it's your car, if you think it looks good, and like it, go for it.

Maybe you'll prove me wrong. :P

Regardless of what people say about what you want to do its your car and you can put on or take off anything you want. If you go for it and later on don't like it you are out a little time and maybe $100. Do what YOU want and have a good time.
Without ammunition, the USAF would be just another very expensive flying club.

Of course I will. No doubt about that. Its just that I think its such a cool idea. I have a hard time believing no one else likes it.

To be brutally honest, my problem is the coloring. If it was different (say, light gray on white) then it would look better. Ditto for dark gray on black. Yellow on blue reminds me of that time I shopped at IKEA. :P

But I repeat what I and campfire9 said: Do what you want! :) Who knows, you'll probably prove us all wrong. :P

i think its a bit too vivid. use more of a silver/gold finish for the lettering and a more smoky shade of blue for the background. it all depends on the finish. if it looks like it was printed onto plastic i dont think it will look good. but if the plastic is actually colored and sort of translucent like a glow gauge, it would look cool. the concept is nice, but the coloring the solara should be more subtle.

yeah, the colors right now are just too distracting... I wouldnt be able to read the gauges with the huge solara letters running across them either.
