U get the headers, and the ypipe from JPP like u said, install them, if u get a CEL (which u most likely will since the ecu of the cali spec cars look for just a tad bit diffrent reading from the o2 sensor after the cat than the ecu of the federal spec cars), get a URD Type B O2 simulator from www.urdusa.com

and also, a correction to ur statement that the pre-cats are on the headers, yes and now... The front header (bank 2) has a precat on the header itself, but! bank 1 (rear header ( near the firewall) ) does not have a precat on the header, its on the ypipe that connects to that header.

absolutely correct. however, the only products available at urd usa for an oxygen simulator are for bank 1, not bank 2. unless however, they are interchangeable.

And even then, i would have to drill a hole for the jp pipe since there is no precat on the jp header for the 02 sensor.

drilling into the JP headers wouldnt be bad... Ill be drilling into mine next week for a wideband O2 sensor and EGT sensor :D

If you contacted them this week Im sure you could still get the group buy pricing... just talk to Jose.

The o2 simulator that URD sells IS the only one u need. It is for the sensor @ bank 1 sensor 2 (which is the sensor AFTER the cat). The sensors on the headers do not matter, they will send the same signal that they always have been. Notice how ur bank 2 sensor is before the precat? Then u'll see my point.
