new rims fitment question

So I have some new rims I might get, they are from a friend and they are almost been never used.
They are 5Zigen Copses in bronze.
Image
question is.
She had a 240sx SE I think it was a 1995.
anyways.
the bolt pattern is 5x114. so that's good.
her tires are 225/40/18 (like mine)

BUT, her 18s I'm not sure (and she's not sure) what the offset is because we dont know if it's 18x7.5 or 18x8... so with that I checked tirerack and and checked their offsets on there with those dimensions, they came back with the offsets 35 and 38mm..

so with these wheels, will they rub on my car? ...

sorry guys. it's been a long night. i did my best to search but yeah.. midterms weren't helping. I'll give those a try Chris, thanks a bunch.
--

thing is. with that calculator thing you sent me, does it matter if im lowered or not??? cuz I'm lowered, not sure about the rubbing issue or needing to roll fenders (both something I do not want)

I put in all the numbers I think I did right, it says I'm clear, but something in the back of my mind is saying it's not.. I hope I'm wrong..

---double checked a few things online. with 18s her car HAS to have 18x7.5 which means the max offset this rim can have I assume +38mm . assuming everything else with the links you guys gave me I think I should be okay. hopefully?
