I'm not a fan of white rims. It doesn't look right with a black car.

Agreed. White rims are getting old IMO also. There are much better choices for a black car then white rims

For a black car, if you're gonna have colored rims, go with either Gold, or black......the blacked out cars look sweet, and gold just goes well with the black.

Chrome is a big thing out here in Vegas, but I'm not sure if I'm big on the idea. Plus they're way more expensive.
Sorry 'bout that, consequences of my childhood.

How about some new, light chrome wheels? Are they out too? Just about EVERY wheel manufacturer makes their most popular wheels in chrome trim. Just because they are chrome, doesn't mean that they are steel. You can buy chromed aluminum or magnesium wheels which equals light weight. The weight of the chrome plating itself is negligible.

You'll be surprised how much weight it puts on a rim. Especially if they were dipped improperly...you usually have a bad imbalance centrifugally.

hey, if you want white rims, i'll give you a suggestion:

maybe tenzo's? shu-10's? or maybe the AV-7's!

or konig tantrums.

if you get white rims, you'll be cleaning brake dust off them once a week to keep them from looking black!
