Black Housed Headlights + HID?

This ones for the guys out there with black housed headlights and HIDs. How does the beam pattern look? If Im going to get HID should I stick to stock?

Black housed headlights's (from ebay's) beam patterns are in no way as good as stock, HID or otherwise.

At least with my black headlights, there are alot of hotspots, and some cold spots (light is not distributed evenly).
