16x6 on 205/60R16 or 15x6 on 205/65R15.

IS300 rims will fit but look stupid since it has a high offset...the rear wheels sit WAY inward.

The IS300 aren't that bad in the back. I have a set on there right now. It fits and I have no problems with them. I've rec'd compliments on them. If you can get some at a good price. Go for it.

dang...imma have to see is300 rims on a solara in person before i get them now that Ryan said what he said. From the pics on Krazee's car they don't look to bad except they seem a bit small for the solara....but then again i don't wanna go 18's or 19's as they are to big and i don't wanna loose any performance....and also i don't wanna spend over $1000 on rims and tires.

Thanx for the info guys

My hopes for rims have now vanished!!!!

Doesn't the IS300 also have a 17" option?

These look like the toyota badged IS300 rims http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 1876738709

It should look sweet if you car is already lowered.
I saw the rims installed on Solara and it just looks nice.

IS300 came standard with 17's. The 16" was the option. As for the Toyota center caps...those were made here by an aftermarket company. No Altezza rims from japan had a T sombrero emblem. Only Altezza and it's badge.

IS300 rims with tire sizes that fit a Solara

What type and size tires do you have on the IS300 rims?

17" Wheels

Postby camry noob » Fri Feb 21, 2003 1:17 am

What is the offset on the IS300 17" rims compared the the stock Gen 4 Camry 15" wheels?

Also what is the ideal tire for these rims on a Gen 4 Camry V6? Lots of driving in the rain rather than dry hi performance.

They were sold to me w/ bridgestone potenzas. The size was 215-45-17. They are now bald and they sucked in winter. I'm thinking I might go with sumitomo's or w/ Kuhmo 712's ( both are decent quality and cheap )

Lexus Wheel Offsets

Postby Guest » Sat Feb 22, 2003 2:12 am

Will the GS Lexus 17 x 8" wheels fit the Gen 4 Camry or will the hi offset make it unworkable?

That same Ebay guy is selling some of them in chrome....

Lexus GS rims on a solara (maybe same with camry) is a no no. the offset is WAY too large to fit in the back. the IS300 can but not the GS. it has like 50 offset which is a lot. the metal part will rub against the shock and the car will not move. in the front it will fit but barely. dont try it ;) even with spacers... :P

i agree...personally i dont even think they look good on a solara...why do you have to put other cars' wheels on ours'? just stick with our rims or get some clean racing harts =) L8r moe :evilbat:
