There's feedback (albeit not for these particular bulbs) that they weren't as bright as the stock ones. Most of the positive feedback I looked at related to speed of shipping or that they arrived at all.

I'm taking a pass. Your mileage may vary.

Once LED bulbs come out from a manufacturer that I recognize and have faith in, I'll be happy to replace the bulbs with LEDs.

In fact, I have some S.O.B. lights in a fan on a vaulted ceiling that I plan to replace with a LED bulb. As soon as I can figure out how to get a cherry picker into my bedroom.

Unknown brand of bulbs on eBay? I don't think it's worth it just for the A+++ feedback rating from the seller.

Give it time. There are more and more mainstream LED applications coming out each day.

You'll get there.

there is no "hook up" for a resistor. simply splice that sucker inline to whatever wire you're tapping.
